DARTMOUTH POLICE CHIEF MANUEL V. MEDEIROS SCHOLARSHIP
One (1) scholarship in the amount of $ 500.00 given to a high school senior who is a child, stepchild or grandchild of a Dartmouth Police Officer, active or retired who is in good standing of the PAL. If there is no high school senior that meets those requirements the scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior who is seeking a college education in the field of law enforcement.
DARTMOUTH POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE SCHOLARSHIPS
Two (2) scholarships given in the amount of $ 500.00 each to a high school senior who is a child, stepchild or grandchild of Dartmouth Police Officer, active or retired who is in good standing of the PAL. If there are no high school seniors who meet those requirements the scholarships will be awarded to a high school senior attending college.
AWARDS AND PAYMENTS
One (1) scholarship in the amount of $500.00 will be awarded in the “Chief Manuel V. Medeiros” category.
Two (2) scholarships in the amount of $500.00 each will be awarded in the “Dartmouth Police Athletic League” category.
One (1) scholarship in the amount of $500.00 will be awarded in the “Exclusive" category.
Only one scholarship will be awarded per applicant.
The full amount of the award will be paid to the student upon completion of the first semester at their enrolled college. A copy of the first semester transcript submitted to the DPAL Treasurer shall satisfy the provisions of the award requirements.
It will be the responsibility of the student to contact the DPAL Treasurer for award payment.
